Meet the Team Behind Beegan K9
You are choosing who cares for your dog every day. Beegan K9 is trainer-run by the same trusted team. Here is who we are, and why we built daycare this way.
Meet the Founders

Caden Beegan
Founder, CEO & Head TrainerCaden is a CPDT-KA certified professional trainer and a graduate of Paradigm K9 in Columbus, Ohio. He brings a behavior-first understanding of dogs to every playgroup, every day.
Before Beegan K9, Caden worked in shelters, fostered dogs, worked the floor at daycares, and shadowed professional trainers. He built Beegan K9 because he saw what volume daycare does to dogs and knew there was a better way.
Caden designs and runs every day on the floor: forming playgroups, reading stress signals, and making sure every dog leaves better than they arrived.

Zach Saxton
Co-Owner & COOZach runs the business side of Beegan K9: operations, growth, and the systems that keep a 12-dog day running smoothly.
He is also on the floor every afternoon, which means the person answering your questions has spent the day with your dog. That is the point of a two-owner operation: nothing about your dog's day gets lost in handoffs.
Zuko
Caden's Labrador. Unofficial head of morale, official demonstration that rest is a skill. A third human hire will eventually take this spot on the page. Zuko is unbothered.
Why Beegan K9 Exists
The standard daycare model packs 30 or more dogs into open rooms with minimal supervision. Dogs come home wired, sick, or with habits they did not arrive with.
Beegan K9 was built as the deliberate opposite: small, structured, and run by a certified trainer. Quality over quantity. We could take more dogs, but we don't.
What We Believe
Structure Over Stimulation
A calm, predictable day beats hours of chaos. The day starts with rest, not play.
Relationships Over Volume
We cap the day at 12 so dogs are known, not processed. Every dog, every day.
Calm Over Chaos
Real rest is part of good care, not an afterthought. Dogs go home fulfilled, not exhausted.
Credentials & Safety
Every credential below is held by the founder who runs your dog's day. We hire only trusted trainers.
CPDT-KA
Certified Professional Pet Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed. An independent, exam-based professional standard.
Paradigm K9 Graduate
Professional trainer program completed in Columbus, OH.
Canine CPR & First Aid
Red Cross certified. If something ever goes wrong, the person with your dog knows exactly what to do.
Our Facility
4,000+ square feet of indoor and outdoor space, capped at 12 dogs a day. Low capacity by design.

Indoor Playspace
Climate-controlled space for matched playgroups and calm rest, never more than 3 dogs out at once.

Outdoor Space
A fenced outdoor yard for fresh-air play sessions and individual walks, one dog at a time.

Rest Areas
Dedicated space for real rest between sessions. We are not cage-free, and that is on purpose.

Play Areas
Open room for matched 2-3 dog playgroups, so each group gets the space to itself.
Dog Daycare, Done Right.
